on | 3 min read
Within the Faber MatriX range, Faber offers a third fuel option in addition to natural gas and propane/biopropane, which is electricity combined with water mist. Faber is unique in this! All the more so, as this progressive option can now be ordered with an electric additional heating unit. For a complete fire experience!

"The 'e-' version of the MatriX was introduced in 2017. The fire effect, which is generated electrically from water mist!"

The 'e-' version of the MatriX has a 3-dimensional fire effect, which is created by illuminated water mist. This fire effect is heat free. Ideal to enjoy all year round, and perfect for houses that are insulated properly and have adequate heating.

For those who would still appreciate heat from this electric fire, Faber is now introducing an additional electric heating option, with a maximum output of 2 kW. The outlet opening of this highly efficient heat source is invisibly incorporated into the surround. This elegant solution ensures that the heat seems to come from the fire. The heating unit is fully integrated into the surround. It goes without saying that this heating unit can be operated with the supplied remote control.

The 'e-' version of the MatriX was introduced in 2017. The fire effect, which is generated electrically from water mist, is developed and patented within Faber's parent company Glen Dimplex. The generous and powerful fire effect of the e-MatriX is heat-free and emission-free. The fire casing has the appearance of a built-in gas fire. A 4 mm thin flexible water hose provides a permanent water supply.

These features offer a new perspective - a chimney is no longer necessary and therefore the e-MatriX can be installed where a gas fire is not possible or desirable. This could include, for example, high-rise flats, project-based applications such as offices and catering establishments, urban areas, 'green' building forms and for reasons of personal safety. The e-MatriX offers interesting future prospects for the fire builder.
