Faber MatriX wins Award for "Best Product 2020"

Faber's MatriX fireplace series has once again received an award. This time, the versatile series of fireplaces received a rare Plus X Award as "Best Product 2020". The German award was awarded by an independent professional jury. It is already the third European award for this decorative fireplace series within a year. The originally Dutch fireplace brand from Heerenveen is proud.

Internationally awarded for innovation, sustainability, quality and design

It is not the first Plus X Award for the MatriX. The MatriX series previously received a Plus X Award 19-20 in no less than 4 of the maximum 7 categories for: High quality, Design, Ease of use and Functionality. The award as "Best Product 2020" means that the MatriX has been named the annual winner in its category. Furthermore, the MatriX has already been awarded the 'Dutch Innovation and Sustainability Prize for Housing 2019' and there were prizes at trade fairs in the United States and Poland.

Innovative hybrid and electric MatriX models soon to come

The built-in fireplaces from the MatriX series can be compiled extensively, according to personal preference and interior design. In addition to size and finish, there is even a choice of fuels: natural gas, (bio) propane or electric, with a unique combination of cold water mist and LED lighting. As a result, a beautiful built-in fireplace is possible everywhere, even in city centers, high-rise apartments and houses without (fixed) gas connection. This makes the Faber MatriX series unique, versatile and an answer to many current questions.

Faber continues to innovate for the upcoming residential season. Completely new in the fireplace world is the hybrid MatriX with Hybrid Pro Light (HPL). In this new gas variant, the flames are largely replaced by LED optics. As a result, gas consumption and heat production are more than 50% lower, without making concessions to an intense and rich play of flames and glow throughout the entire fireplace.

Faber also introduces a new generation of the e-MatriX: this gas-free and chimney-free version has energy-efficient LED lighting at the top and bottom. With the new app you can adjust it completely in color and intensity to your interior style and the desired atmosphere. The fire does not produce any heat, which is why the fireplace has a noiseless auxiliary heating that, if desired, blows pleasant warmth into the interior through the fireplace glass.

The e-MatriX Linear present at the Architect @ Work fair in the Netherlands, France and Germany

Due to its unique fire image ("fire from water"), gas- and chimney-free installation, the Faber e-MatriX has been admitted to Architect @ Work in three countries, an international exhibition platform for innovative top developments in architecture. In the autumn of 2020, the latest e-MatriX can be seen at the editions in Rotterdam, Paris, Berlin and Stuttgart.
